Laurie Soper, APRN Garden County Health Services is pleased to announce the hiring of Laurie Soper APRN-C, MS, BSN CFRN as a provider in our Rural Health Clinic. She will also be working some on call for our Emergency Department on nights and weekends. We are quite fortunate to have Laurie decide to work for us with her extensive work with Emergency Medicine. We will have more information on her days and office hours that she will be here in Garden County by next weeks paper. Watch for further updates. Laurie Soper APRN-C, MS, BSN CFRN, has dedicated her life to healthcare and health education. Born and raised in the western Nebraska, Laurie received her Diploma from West Nebraska General Hospital School of Nursing and her BSN from Charles Sturt University in New South Wales, Australia. As a travelling nurse she has worked in some of the top medical centers in the United States in both Trauma and Critical Care departments. After earning her Masters in Health Services Management, she spent several years as an instructor for the University of Nebraska nursing program and received her Post Masters Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from UNMC. Laurie has spent several years as a flight nurse and is currently a Certified Flight Registered Nurse and CFRN item writer, and has been pursuing a Doctorate in Public Health. She has also managed to find time to travel in Europe and Asia, refurbish several houses and raise 3 children with her husband Mark. She remains dedicated to latest best practice in healthcare and helping her patients to the best of her abilities. |
