Ambulance

Ambulance services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our ambulance services has two well equipped ambulances to serve Garden County. The ambulance service is owned and operated by Garden County Health Services.

Certified community volunteers (Emergency Medical Technicians or EMTs) provide direct patient care. To keep their licenses current, EMTs are required to complete ongoing continuing education courses. Training is scheduled on a regular basis throughout the year.

Ambulance drivers are volunteers as well, and they have completed a background investigation and driver’s training/orientation. Our volunteers are very active in our community. They have been fund raising to buy a replacement ambulance, and took a big role in the building of a new ambulance barn.

The volunteers meet monthly to complete their schedule for the upcoming month, discuss current issues and learn new developments in emergency medical services.
